Claire Cotton is an Animation and Visual Effects student at Drexel University. She got her start in the design industry early on in her life. During middle school, she fell in love with designing and creating art through drawing. Later, she adapted a digital approach to art and began designing her work online. She is a CG generalist with experience in traditional art, design, modeling, texturing, animation, and compositing. Even though she is a generalist, she specializes in modeling and texturing. She has experience in programs like Maya, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
Claire has work experience in graphic design and social media management. She has created flyers, posters, ads, animations, and logos for companies to use as marketing material. She has a clear vision for her work and is always determined to get it done efficiently and with great attention to detail. Her overall art style is full of bright colors and big shapes. Claire likes to follow the design aesthetic of maximalism but is flexible when it comes to producing work for others.
When she isn’t working, Claire enjoys going on runs, baking, reading, and spending time with her dog, Winston. She currently lives in Philadelphia with her family while getting her degree. Claire will be graduating from Drexel in the spring of 2026. After that, she hopes to attain a job in either the design or animation industry in any way she can.
