Claire Cotton is an Animation and Visual Effects student at Drexel University. She got her start in the design industry early on in her life. During middle school, she fell in love with designing and creating art through drawing. Later, she adapted a digital approach to art and began designing her work online.
She was trained by Drexel University to be a CG generalist but has found a special interest in surfacing and look development. She has experience in programs like Maya, Adobe Suite, Zbrush, Unreal Engine, and Blender. Claire has work experience in graphic design, social media management, and both 3D and 2D motion graphics.
She has a clear vision for her work and is always determined to get it done efficiently and with great attention to detail. Her overall art style is full of bright colors and big shapes. Claire likes to follow the design aesthetic of maximalism but is flexible when it comes to producing work for others. When she isn’t working, Claire enjoys going on runs, baking, reading, and spending time with her cat, Milo. She currently lives in Philadelphia while getting her degree. Claire will be graduating from Drexel in the spring of 2026. After that, she hopes to attain a job in either the design or animation industry in any way she can. If you are interested in finding out more about Claire’s work, you can follow her on Instagram @ClaireCott.Art, where she posts different projects, she is working on. Those projects range from animation all the way to traditional art.
