As a part of my duties as Art Director on my Capstone Animation Project, The Clock that Forgot to Chime, I had to design and bring to life the Tinkerer’s Workshop, the setting of our story.
I was responsible for designing the space along with prop modeling, texturing, and lighting!

Designing the Tinkerer’s Workshop was a big challenge, but I love the design we settled on! I was inspired by traditional Asian Design and Art Nouveau architecture when making my concept art. In order to stray away from the boring square room with four walls, I wanted to incorporate multiple levels, curved walls, and water features to bring visual interest!
All concept art was drawn by me in Photoshop.

Here is a small selection of the many props I modeled and textured to populate the workshop!
